HORSHAM, Pa., Jan. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The award-winning HR Technology Conference & Exposition®, indisputably the world’s largest event dedicated to HR technology, today announced the call for presentations for its Women in HR Tech Summit. The Summit will be held on the first day of the Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition®, which takes place September 11 – 14, 2018 at The Venetian in Las Vegas.

HR technology expert Jeanne Achille has been named Chair of the 2018 Women in HR Tech event. A successful woman entrepreneur, she is best known for founding and leading The Devon Group, a technology PR and marketing firm. In this capacity, she has promoted hundreds of new HR products and services, worked with the investment community on new ventures and provided leadership counsel to entrepreneurs and executives. Earlier in her career, she launched the first PC-based HRMS, designed applicant tracking and matching systems and led the initial integration of HRMS and payroll on a single platform.

Achille shared, “In today’s global setting, HR technology goes well beyond regulatory compliance and the automation of complex business processes. It truly creates sea change for employers and their employees, making it among the most pervasive and important business investments. I’m excited to propel our Women in HR Tech event to the next level, especially during this time of futuristic technology advancements and focus on workforce diversity.”

President of LRP Conferences and LRP Publications, producers of the HR Technology Conference and publishers of Human Resource Executive® magazine, Kenneth Kahn, commented, “The HR Technology Conference has built a reputation as the best place to seek knowledge on technology and its impact on the workplace. The event’s goal is to continuously innovate and provide unsurpassed value for attendees. Jeanne’s deep understanding of the industry and years of experience will ensure Women in HR Tech’s programming meets the evolving needs of our attendees from more than 39 countries. We look forward to her contributions.”

The Women in HR Tech call for presentations is currently open. It closes on February 9, 2018. CHROs and HR professionals – as well as industry thought leaders – who are interested in being keynote or session speakers are encouraged to submit their credentials for consideration. Another year another great #HRTechConf - the 20th year in fact! And what a year. If you’ve not been, the conference and expo is huge. Every time I walk into the main room where the keynotes and startup competitions take place, I’m left in awe about how large it is. Ok, so its not the largest show on earth - I think Dreamforce tries hard for that with over 120,000 attendees! But for an HR audience all focussed on technology, its something to behold.
