Help Us Find The Next Great HR Technology Company

Last year we had an exciting and successful launch of our new “Next Great HR Technology Company Competition.” Four of the top analysts in HR technology each coached two startups throughout the summer. It culminated at the annual HR Technology® Conference and Exhibition where all eight presented to the crowd and session attendees voted a winner.

We are excited to report that we’ll be repeating the session this year with an expanded and improved format that will increase the participation of HR Executive magazine readers and the attendees of HR Tech.

This year, startups have the opportunity to be considered for the competition via our on-line submission process, available at www.HRTechConference.com/ANT.html. new technology, awesome new technology, HR technologySubmissions are being accepted until June 30, 2017 and soon after that the 8 semi-finalists will be announced.

Then in July and August we will be looking to you, the audience, to vote online and help us select the four finalists that will present to the audience at the conference in Las Vegas on October 10, 2017. And, of course, session attendees will select the Next Great HR Technology for 2017 live in Vegas!

Throughout the summer and early fall, our coaches will be posting videos and updates of the coaching process with the finalist startups. We’ll be providing many of you a rare behind the scenes glimpse of startup culture, and what it’s like to work with analysts in our space. It should be lots of fun! We know we can’t wait to see this evolve over the next several months!

This session is a unique opportunity for HR technology startups to get valuable coaching from leading analysts, and to then get exposure to the largest audience HR technology customers under one roof at HR Tech. This year it’s also a unique opportunity for you, our community, to help shape the leading analysts thinking and have a direct voice in the outcome.

This year Steve Boese will be hosting this session. Joining him as this year’s coaches is last year’s winning coach George LaRocque, Principal Analyst and Founder of HRWins to attempt a repeat. He’ll be joined by another returning coach, Madeline Laurano, Founder and Principal Analyst of Aptitude Research Partners. They will be joined by two newcomers to the competition: Ben Eubanks, Principal Analyst of Lighthouse Research & Advisory, and Lance Haun, Analyst for The Starr Conspiracy’s Intelligence Unit.
